Fermented Stevia Could Reach $3 Billion in Sales by 2025

Fermented stevia could be a major game-changer for food producers looking to create a product without sugar. Nutrition company DSM announced their fermented stevia will be in full-scale production by 2020. Fermented sweeteners, the company estimates, could reach $3 billion in sales by 2025 because “fermentation is more sustainable and more cost-effective than traditional stevia sweetener production.”
